Terms of use

The service

Chuy Analytics is a web application operated by Futuri Labs, part of Futuri Media. It shows the activity measured by Chuy sensor units: counts of nearby devices over time, per unit and compared across units. How the units work and what they collect is described on the Privacy page.

Who may use it

The service is for customers of Futuri Labs and the people they add. Accounts are created by invitation only: Futuri Labs invites the owner of a Chuy, and owners may add further owners and viewers for their Chuys. There is no public sign-up.

Your account

• Keep your password private and do not share your sign-in with anyone. If you want a colleague to have access, add them from the People page so they get their own account.
• Keep your contact details (name, email address, organisation, phone) accurate so that we can reach you about your Chuys and your orders.
• Tell us at patrickhartnett@futurimedia.com if you think your account has been used by someone else.

Acceptable use

• Do not try to identify individual people from the data. The units and the app are built to count devices, not to track anyone, and the data must not be combined with other sources for that purpose.
• Do not probe, scan or test the service for weaknesses, try to reach data you have not been given access to, or interfere with its operation. If you find a problem, tell us.
• Use the data for your own venue or business reporting. Do not resell access to the service.

Your data and ours

The data measured by your Chuys belongs to you, the customer. Futuri Labs operates the service and holds that data on your behalf, and may use aggregated, non-identifying statistics across the service, for example overall traffic volumes and uptime, to run and improve it. Futuri Labs staff can see every Chuy and account in order to operate the service and give support.

Orders and shipping

You can request units from the Orders page. Each order is handled by email with Futuri Labs: we confirm the quantity, shipping details and timing with you, and update the order's status in the app as it is prepared and shipped. The order form is a request, not a purchase contract; pricing and delivery are agreed with Futuri Labs directly.

Availability

We run the service on a best-effort basis. It may be paused for maintenance or changed as it is developed, and the development and QA deployment in particular is not guaranteed to be available or to keep its data. Tell us if something looks wrong and we will look into it.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change, the new version is published on this page and the date at the top changes. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms. If you do not, contact us and we will close your account.
